Muduna has chosen to nurture and perpetuate straw marquetry, an integral part of French living heritage, through meaningful works.

They are part of a universe, illustrating life, societal aspirations, spirituality and nature. They interact with other artistic practices of all types and from all eras.

 

What about the perception of this positioning?

2024 - In its first year, three works were recognized in an online international contemporary art competition. One of these works was also featured in the 2025 Catalogue of International Contemporary Artists published by Artcertificate.eu.

2025 - Plaisance and Coup de coeur were again distinguished in the Extended Long List selection of the Jackson's Art Prize in London.

Three works from the new collection were awarded prizes in the 2025 Contemporary Abstract Art Competition. The straw marquetry of these pieces blends with mother-of-pearl, natural stone, and metal in a unique harmony! A piece in multicolored straw marquetry received the jury's special prize in the 2025 Contemporary Figurative Art Competition.

2026 - International Contemporary Artists presents in EXHIBIT four pages on the most recent works and EDEN is among the works selected on the back cover.
